PMI UNY Program Committee Volunteer Opportunities

Overview  

PMI UNY currently has several open Committee Member opportunities available for its members. The terms for these openings are June 1 through May 31. 

This is an excellent opportunity for current chapter members to contribute to the local Project Management community and earn valuable PDUs. 

Eligibility, Responsibilities, & PDUs 

Committee Members will receive 5 PDUs for serving as Committee Members. The Committee Volunteer Member opportunities are currently available in the following functional committee:  

1)         Events Planning Committee

2)         Professional Development Committee

3)         Administration Committee

4)         Communications and Marketing Committee

5)         Membership Committee

6)         Finance Committee 

All current PMI UNY members are eligible to join these Committee. Committee Members will be expected to attend at-least some of the committee meetings (at-least two in a year) and help out as needed (based on their availability) in the respective committees. The expected time commitment is 5 hours per year.

Committee Members can also earn additional PDUs by working on additional project committees based on their interest and availability.
